Our story
Ours began as a story of close friendship, two people whose values aligned, whose personalities just fit, and who shared a bond that only grew stronger with time. At the heart of it all was a deep mutual respect, lots of laughter, and a shared love for rugby league.
That love sparked a phrase between us: "five-eights." In the game, the five-eight is the playmaker. The one who reads the field, makes strategic moves, and supports their team through every phase of play. For us, it came to mean something even deeper.
We became each other’s five-eight, best friends who’ve always had each other’s backs, no matter what life throws our way. Through the wins, the losses, and everything in between, we’ve stood side by side, guiding, supporting, and backing each other every step.
Now married, FIVE EIGHTS is more than a phrase. It’s our motto, our anchor. It’s been inked on our bodies, sealed in our vows, and woven into the very fabric of our relationship. From teammates to soulmates this is our forever game.
